In this first episode, I introduce myself and give a brief overview of my history with depression. My backstory is nothing unusual - many people struggle with depression, anxiety, and other mental health problems. That's why I teach meditation, mindfulness, and other mind-healthy practices! Recovery is an intentional choice to face your problems and unlearn the toxic behaviors that led you to your current situation. But it won't happen if you rely solely on willpower and good intentions, although those things are certainly valuable. There are many wellness techniques to help you on your recovery journey, and that's what this podcast is all about.
