1/13/26: Should Gender-Affirming Care Be Banned?

Today on Truth to Power, Kyle Wallace starts show by addressing a recent political social media post by the Wisconsin GOP where they featured Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley, when they mention Mandela Barnes. Kyle questions if all black people look the same or if this was intentional. Then later Kyle addresses state is beginning to stop providing gender-affirming care due to a threat from our Trump Administration plans to block all Medicaid and Medicare funding for any services at hospitals that provide gender-affirming care to minors. He talks about the threat these decisions have on the lives of many teenagers battling suicidal ideations, the threat of losing access to healthcare for many over the healthcare decisions of a few and what it means to let people be who they are.
