087: Why I started The Professionist - Ben Cooper

Today I have the privilege of talking to Ben Cooper.

Ben is a former international lawyer, having practiced law in Australia and in London's financial services district as a litigator, but is now based in the US. He now helps college students and professionals, at all levels, to explore their career options, execute a career switch, or to develop their existing careers.

He just launched a podcast called the Professionist. In this show, Ben talks to different professionals about their careers and what it is like working in that specific career. Definitely check it out. Ben has found that many students limit their career choices to the well-known field such as lawyer, doctor, software developer, or marketer. With the Professionist podcast and as a career consultant, Ben tries to broaden the options for people and show them all the different professions available.
