As part of our spiritual journey, we are often given instructions in the Word of God to obey i.e., things to do and things to not to. It is very easy, however, to get so caught up in outwardly obeying these instructions that we miss the very point of them. Could it be that what God truly desires from us goes beyond mere compliance with His word? What, then, is God really after when He gives us His instructions?
