021: The Dana Carvey Show S1 EP1

Welcome Back to the best damn podcast about sketch comedy in this Matrix simulation we are currently "living" in. This week we talk about one of the funniest but also least successful sketch comedy shows ever, The Dana Carvey Show. It only lasted 7 episodes when they tried to put on a very raunchy, absurd comedy show on ABC primetime right after Home Improvement. It definitely wasnt the right time slot for this show but it was fun while it lasted. Steven Carrell and Stephen Colbert got their first big gigs on the show. Also there was an all star writing staff of Robert Smigel, Louis C.K., Robert Carlock(30 Rock), Charlie Kaufman, Jon Glaser and Dino Stamatopoulos.
