Our subject today is Las Vegas. Specifically, the city’s deep connection to the mafia. We are going to discuss the origins of the mafia’s interest in the city and explore how the mafia is largely responsible for its early success. We will then go on to discuss the later involvement of midwest mob families - the Chicago Outfit, Milwaukee, Kansas City and Cleveland.
