01: Why We Are Doing a Comedy and Counseling Podcast

Comedy & Counseling is a unique podcast where a comedian and licensed counselor, who are also married, (hiii) tackle life’s biggest challenges— like marriage, money, transracial adoption, parenting, grief, chronic illness, and faith. Each episode features lighthearted humor, grounded in real-life experiences, and ends with a mental health/wellness moment incorporating creative outlets like cooking, baking, celebrations, or art to help listeners unwind and find peace.

Mission Statement: Our mission is to provide a relatable, laughter-filled space where listeners can explore emotional health and relationships, while gaining practical advice from a licensed counselor and finding humor in everyday challenges.
