Second episode on how we can change the reality around us from our insignificance in the face of the powers of the world. Most people don't even consider doing anything to change the course of events in the world, thinking that they don't have enough power to even try. However, Grian, from his own personal experience, offers us reflections that point to the supreme importance of each person doing what they can best contribute to the world in order to transform it into a more humane and habitable world. These reflections are accompanied by highly inspiring scientific proposals, such as the Butterfly Effect and Chaos Theory, which point in the direction that any person, no matter how insignificant they may feel, by doing their bit in the enormous task of transforming our civilisation, can have more effect than they could ever have imagined in the construction of a socially and ecologically just civilisation.Directed and hosted by: Grian CutandaTune: Greensleeves, by Kim Robertson, with express permission for its use in this programme (Kim Robertson@BMI)Our thanks go to Cassandra Vieten and Fernando Berlin, on whom we have based a key part of the strategy for this programme.LINKSFor the outline of the proposal on how the Rainbow Warriors 3.5 social movement and campaign works and how to create a 'tribe' (a group of people who are willing to put their talents and skills at the service of the Earth and the terrestrial Community of Life), visit the presentation 'Rainbow Warriors 3.5: The Social Forest'. * National Geographic (2017).
