  • Jesse Dollemore and Ian Brinksman bring you episode 3 of this limited series podcast, reviewing the 2008 HBO miniseries John Adams starring Paul Giamatti, Laura Linney, Danny Huston, Justin Theroux, Stephen Dillane, David Morse, Tom Wilkinson, among others. In the second episode, John Adams and his young son, John Quincy, travel via ship in a harrowing Atlantic crossing to France, where John Adams serves as a diplomat to secure an alliance between the United States and France. Adams proves himself not well suited for diplomacy, and the episode chronicles a difficult time for the future President. Jesse and Ian discuss what the episode got wrong as well as the things that the show creators nailed!
