  • Almost 30 years after the original, Superman Returns in this 2006 "spiritual sequel" to Superman 1978/Superman II: The Donner Cut.

    "Superman returns to Earth after a five-year absence. Traveling to the location where astronomers had discovered the remains of Krypton, Superman is unable to locate any survivors. During his absence, he finds Lois Lane has moved on with her life, and Lex Luthor is plotting a scheme to kill Superman and reshape North America...
