בשלישי דפ' בא מדובר אודות ציווי ה' ש"ישאלו איש מאת רעהו ואשה מאת רעותה כלי כסף וכלי זהב" (לקיים מ"ש "ואח"כ יצאו ברכוש גדול"). בפ' שמות מצינו בזה יתרון בנוגע לנשים דוקא "ושאלה אשה משכנתה ומגרת ביתה וגו'" (ולא מוזכר כלל אנשים). וההוראה בנוגע לקיום מצוות "פרו ורבו" ושלילת הענין של "תכנון משפחה": את הספיקות בזה ש"נדבקו" מה"שכנתה וגו'" ניתן "לשטוף" ע"י הסברה פשוטה שמובנת גם בשכל של נפה"ב ואפשר להסבירה גם ל"שכנתה": אע"פ שבנוגע לכללות הנהגת האדם נתן לו ה' בחירה חפשית לבחור בין דרך החיים לבין ההיפך ח"ו, הרי בנוגע למצוות "פרו ורבו" הנה (אע"פ שגם ההורים "שותפים" בזה, אבל) כדי שייוולד הולד בפועל ה"ז תלוי רק ב"שותף" הג' – כח הא"ס – ברכת ה' ש"היא תעשיר", ופשוט שהקב"ה יודע מתי הזמן הטוב ביותר לזה בגשמיות וברוחניות הן להורים והן לילדים! Synopsis

Shelishi of parashas Bo states, “Please speak to the people and let them ask to borrow, each man from his friend and every woman from her friend, items of silver and gold,” to fulfill Hashem’s promise that “afterwards they will leave with great wealth.” In parashas Shemos we find a particular advantage regarding the women, as the verse states, “A woman will request from her neighbor and from the woman in whose house she lodges etc.” without mentioning the men at all. The lesson is as follows: any doubts a Jew has regarding the mitzvah to be fruitful and multiply (due to the influence from “her neighbor” etc.) can be removed with a simple explanation that can be understood even by the animal soul and even by “her neighbor”: While Hashem gives a person free choice to decide how to conduct himself and whether to choose the path of life or chas v’shalom the opposite, nevertheless, when it comes to the mitzvah to be fruitful and multiply, while the parents are partners in the birth of their children, for a child to actually be born depends only on the third Partner, Hashem – “It is the blessing of Hashem that enriches….” And Hashem obviously knows the best time for it to happen – the best time materially and spiritually, and the best time for both the parents and the children.
