fun to read

This book is definitely fun to read/listen to. It's not long, just a little over half hour, right about the length of my morning commute. I actually stayed at the parking lot to finish the last bit of it before hopping off. It talks about getting used to the game and to the life itself. A lot things happen on the court are actually lessons for life. When i listen to it and think back to my days in the team with my mates, it just suddenly brings back all the memories. I still play to this day but not so much competitively. but i still enjoy the game. This book is definitely helpful for anyone enjoying the game itself and wanting some lesson to know more about it.

Great introduction to the game

I like how this was a short and simple read. It did a really great job of covering all of the basics of the game and comparing it to lessons that can be learned in life. I’m excited to share this book with my son!

This audiobook is a short and sweet listen, but don't let that fool you by thinking it is no less useful and insightful! Marc Reed, shares his knowledge and passion for basketball but explaining the rules, tactics, and strategies of basketball and also relating them to life scenarios! As we know, it is not uncommon for high level athletes to excel in other areas of their life, this is because the mindset it takes to become a great athlete has direct carry-over into everything. I enjoyed listening to this and finished it in one sitting! This audiobook is perfect for the up-and-coming young basketball athletes and is a good reminder for high performance both on and off the court. I would highly recommend it!

What Every Coach Wants For Their Players

I try to drill these same concepts and skills into the players on my team.
Sometimes the players tune me out. They need to hear it from another source.
I'm going to recommend that everyone who plays for me get this book.
It not only covers all the fundamentals, it presents them in a way that truly useful on and off the court.
