This book is inline with the times and got me so stirred up!!! A MUST read!

I'm so grateful this book was sent my way. I was searching and now I've found! If you need a deeper sense of creation/manifestation, this is the Truthful Guide for you.

MIX FEELING HERE...

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I absolutely loved The Secret Contract and The Souldmate Contract... but this one leaves me with mixt feelings... Although she saying many things the way they are..she can be very harsh as well... I understand that she has a lot of experience in that field, but she basically make people feel that what ever they did before is not good enough, and maybe never will..unless you go her way..!!(Let's talk about ego here.. ;) I listened to the all thing but I really felt that I was listening to someone who had a bad day!!Anyway, I learned few from those 2 hours ... so it is a positive experience still !So ..mix feeling here..for that I have her only 3 starts overall :(

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Because of the way Caroline Myss is performing her speech... I was happy it was only 2+ hours...

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

Yes..she did much better before, so I know she can do much better... I loved her before, and still love her even after this..

Do you think Your Power to Create needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

It may.. but let's hope it would be done differently..

Not the easy way?

I like this! What's creating about?
When you only want the outer world to change with new things or persons then try 'Abraham-Hicks' or 'The Secret'. When these teaching don't work or when they do work and you're still feeling there's something missing then try 'Your power to create' from Caroline Myss.
It is not an easy way: it's going inside and changing and redefining the ideas about who you are.
The basics are not about getting stuff or people to make you happy but about dis-covering your relation with your soul and dis-covering who you really are.
'A course in Miracles', a way that also isn't really easy, states 'there is no difference between having and being' and it has a lot more in common with this program. Listening to God and guidance instead of the saboteur in this program, listening to the Holy Spirit instead of the ego in A Course.
Didn't someone once said 'first seek the kingdom within'. Well, here's one way to do it.

Horrible.

A huge fan of some of Myss' work. Also a fan of Wayne Dyer and Deepak Chopra. This presentation leaves me cold. She spends the first half bawling the listener out in a way worse than I ever heard about Dr. Laura doing.

Why does she bawl you out? Because you believe that you can have what you want out of life. That's it. That's the reason she wants to spend your time making you feel like garbage.

If you want to learn about manifesting, check out the Secret, Abraham Hicks or various Wayne Dyer works. They teach and understand the enlightening principle that joy heals and frees us to live with even greater joy. She wants you to let some larger authority make your decisions for you instead of trusting your own self as the source of authority over your life.

Let Myss stick with energy systems and archetypes. I don't want to hear another word from her about what she clearly has very little real comprehension of. Better yet, after hearing how angry she seems to have become, let her retire and enjoy the enormous profits she has manifested for herself on this life journey.
