Perfect blend of self-help & living gospel truths

This is the knowledge and encouragement we all wish we had growing up. The author gives down-to-Earth, practical steps to living deliberately. She intertwines each step with guidance from the scriptures and modern apostles. I loved that this was narrated but the author- you can feel her enthusiasm and it brings an extra step of connection to her words and experiences.
You On Purpose is a treasure for young adults starting out on their own, and also for all of us that could use some delightful encouragement becoming our best selves.

A must read/listen for any Latter-Day Saint!

Absolutely loved this listen! I am new to the self help world but this filled me with so much hope and enthusiasm to start living life on purpose and with purpose! The fact that it was for written with an LDS audience is mind made it that much more meaningful and helpful!

The why of self-help

Have you ever felt like you were ready for more in your life but didn’t know how to get there? Have you read self-help books or avoided them like the plague? I am an avoider because they never fully aligned to my most important priorities— God, Faith and family. This book is the key for making sense of the best of self-help in a gospel context. I feel like this is a book I will go back to again and again. I got the hard copy too because I needed to take notes and create a vision for my life pronto. She breaks it down into bite-size manageable pieces and uses scripture, prophetic council and personal stories to bring it home. It is so powerful and so engaging. You will want to start right away. I’d hand this book to any young adult, teenager or adult who wants to grow their potential and influence in the world. I love that it is read by the author too!
