“If Climate Change represent’s one of the greatest challenges of mankind, therefore every effort and sacrifice to fighting and eradicating it must be considered worthwhile and in the right direction too. Why! Because no man or woman of conscience can afford to be comfortably seated and watch wile his/her households are on fire. Truly, our world is on fire by the climate change effects and we must quench it now before it is getting too late”.
No doubts, in our world today, apart from Conflicts and Crises, climate change represents one of the most critical challenges facing humanity and planet earth.
The term Climate Change, according to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), refers to a shift and change in the state of the climate (Whether and Temperature conditions) that can be identified (e.g., through statistical analysis) by changes in the mean and/or the variability of its properties, and that persists for an extended period, typically one, two or more decades without being checked or reversed.
The UN distinguishes between climate change caused by natural processes and human activities.
Thus, in most discussions today, the most common elementary and accepted definition of climate change refers to changes in the global climate –whether and temperature due to human activities, particularly the increase in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from burning fossil fuels, deforestation, and industrial activities.
As could be seen from this statement and definition, Climate change, is majorly caused and driven by human activities such as: the burning of fossil fuels, deforestation, and industrial processes, leading to an increase in greenhouse gases (GHGs) in the atmosphere consequently affecting the ozone layer.
These gases trap heat, causing global temperatures to raise—a phenomenon known as global warming. The impacts of climate change are vast and interconnected, affecting ecosystems, weather patterns, human health, agricultural productivities and the global economy.
Thus, Climate changes, as the MOTHER of all challenges of our time with these notable Consequences which include:

1. Poor agriculture due to soil pollution, toxicity and acidity,
2. Flooding due to rising sea water levels,
3. Excessive Heat due to Global warming,
4. Rising Sea level,
5. Chronic Diseases,
6. Poverty,
7. Hunger,
8. Social Injustices –resulting to forced migration, must be checked now or never before the world goes into extinction.
