This book is even less compelling than the first

I guess the author thinks that he can tell a boring vampire story, with a plot that doesn’t hold together, and as long as he tosses in some soft porn scenes it’s a formula for success. Just like the first book the last chapter is a sprint through a Swiss cheese plot to tie up loose ends and finish the book.

Maybe I should be blaming the editor, rather than the author, but either way there won’t be a Book 3 for me.
