Excellent read

2nd book about Clement and it was just as good as the 1st. Mr Pearson does a great job at creating a story and a after story. I usually don't care for the after stories but his books are a testament to his great writing. On several occasions while reading I must go the map of England search the places he talks about. At these times it feels like I've gone on vacation to a place I've have always wanted to see.

Even better than the first!

After reading many other books from Mr. Pearson, I decided to give this series a run. Book One really grabbed me about 30% of the way in, and now finishing Book Two. Clement is a helluva character, and look forward to the rest of the series. Excellent character development, and interesting story lines delivered in an entertaining manner. Well done!

Everyone needs a Clement sometimes

I found myself adoring the big oaf so much. This was almost as good as the first one and that's saying alot. Just about everything a book needs to be great. Yes it's far fetched but that's ok with me because the characters are so likeable. The narrotor was the absolute icing on the cake. Start with "Who Sent Clement"
