Ths program has bad audio quality just as the previous review stated. The stories used to reinforce the words are a little hokey and I feel like a small child being spoken to by an overenthusiastic adult. However, the words and repetition used for reinforcement make this program worth the time. I have learned and retained words I previously hadn't heard. If you want to update your vocabulary or prepare for a test (I'm preparing for the MAT), then this is worth the listen.

The whole Word Builders Vocabulary set from Vol 1 to 6 is simply the best vocabulary program around. Too bad they stopped producing the series. Nothing else since has ever equaled the Word Builders program. Others have tried, but to no avail. I was lucky to find the series being offered on line over the Internet in digital audio format. Without being overtly outré (one of the word I learned from Word Builders), nothing else compares to this series. You will NOT be disappointed.
