Second narrator ruined it for me !
oh my gosh, please don't use that horrendous, screeching, fake American accent EVER AGAIN!! Everything else was great, but that horrific accent ruined the last book, and therfore the entire audible book,.

Andre Norton at her best.
the 3 stories are well written with good characters. I wish Ms. Norton had not called grown women, "girls" so often, but that was common years ago.
excellent narration except for the voice of the lrad woman in story 3 where the voice chosen has a nasal yet flat quality.

A very good series
I wish more of the witch world books were on audible. this is an amazing series and I would like to hear more of the books from it. I read this series a while ago but it is one that can be enjoyed over and over.

classic but dated
I got this to learn more about early female scifi writers. I can see how it's been influential, but it comes across as quite dated in it's cartoonish he-man-esque high fantasy that just is quality. additionally, the reader is a bit flat, and makes all male voices sound like robots.

this book is very hard to follow !
I couldn't follow this story not could I stay interested in it long enough to fin8sh.
by chapter 4 I was donevtrying.
