Good story line

The books were interesting and the story enjoyable but the virtual voice distracts and really detracts from the experience. I was very disappointed because when I started it I thought it would be like “The Witches of Scotland” on Audible. . There were several times I was tempted to abandon the stories because of the voice. A real voice with the Scottish brogue and inflection would add so much. I wish I would have read rather than listened to these 3 books.

Great except for virtual voice

The storyline was enjoyable but the virtual voice ruined many parts. I mean the virtual voice was awful! It had the wrong inflection much of the time

The story line could be good

The stories had potential to be soooo good. I wanted to love these books. But the person reading the books made it unbearable. I tried so hard to get through all three books but in the end had to stop halfway through the third book. The narrator speaking slowly. Pronouncing words weird. Saying words correctly one sentence then messing the word up in another. I just couldn’t do it.

Terrible AI for audio

I am sure the book would have been more enjoyable if the audio was not with AI voice. The names were said wrong over and over again. There was no change in tone of voice and depth depending on which character was supposed to be talking. It made it hard to follow the characters and who was saying what. I feel sorry for the author of this book because I think it will get bad reviews because the audio with AI was so terrible the book is not enjoyable.

AI reader

The AI reader lacks the human voice fluctuations. It mispronounces names and words and doesn’t say sentences correctly all the time. It’s a shame cause the story is really interesting, but I had to stop listening and never finished cause the AI was just off enough to make me loose interest
