From USA Today bestselling author Claudia Burgoa comes a new, stand-alone and heartfelt Kentbury Tale about rekindled love and old scars.

Until a year ago, I had a pretty good handle on my life.

I ran my grandmother’s flower shop, lived in the quaint apartment above it, and everything was perfectly fine.

Until business slowed, bills piled up, and I started wondering if I’d lose everything.

Now, I’m holding it all together by a thread—depending on one major wedding order that could save everything.

But, of course, a blizzard hits, and my delivery van breaks down.

And who shows up to help? Holden Miller.

My first love and the man who broke my heart.

Brooding, distant, and somehow even more infuriatingly handsome.

He’s the last person I want to rely on, but I don’t have a choice.

Now we’re stuck together, forced to confront the past I’ve been running from.

The cold might be the least of my worries.

Because the hardest thing I have to face is the one person I thought I could never love again.

A Blizzard, A Broken-Down Van, And The Man She Thought She'd Never Love Again.

Winter in Kentbury is a beautiful, heartfelt standalone in the Kentbury Tales series that proves a blizzard is the perfect excuse for a second-chance romance. The story centers on Jenna Santos, whose life is unraveling—her beloved flower shop is on the brink of collapse. She's relying on one major wedding order to save everything, but a fierce blizzard and a broken-down van leave her stranded and desperate.

Enter Holden Miller, her first love and the man who broke her heart years ago. Brooding, distant, and still infuriatingly handsome, Holden is the last person Jenna wants to rely on. Once high school sweethearts, life happened to them both, leaving behind a painful past and lingering scars. Now, stuck together by the snow, they are forced to confront the old wounds and the undeniable connection that never truly faded. Could this chance encounter be their second chance to make something more? This book is full of the emotional weight and warmth needed to melt the cold of a Kentbury winter.

The Audio Experience
The dual narration for Winter in Kentbury is excellently handled by Stephanie Németh-Parker and Robert Hatchet, adding significant depth to this angsty second-chance story.

Stephanie Németh-Parker is fantastic as Jenna Santos. She perfectly captures Jenna’s immense vulnerability as her life falls apart and her deep-seated resentment toward Holden. Her performance makes Jenna's internal struggle—to save her business while guarding her heart—palpable and completely relatable.

Robert Hatchet makes a memorable debut for me in his portrayal of Holden Miller. He delivers a wonderful performance as the brooding, distant hero. His voice is commanding yet laced with the regret and quiet pain that Holden carries, allowing the listener to quickly feel the weight of the hero’s emotional baggage and root for his redemption.

The narrators masterfully handle the intimate atmosphere of the forced proximity, making every fraught conversation and every moment of rediscovered chemistry incredibly compelling. If you love a deep, emotional second-chance story set against a cozy, small-town backdrop, this is a highly recommended audiobook listen.

Holden Miller and Jenna Santos' second chance romance has all the swoon, spice, and small-town feels that I love. They were high school sweethearts before Holden left for the Air Force, never looking back and breaking both their hearts. Now he is back in Kentbury, looking for direction after retiring. When he sees Jenna again, he finally feels hope. Jenna has been through so much, but is a survivor. She is struggling to make her flower shop successful, and doesn't need Holden to opening old hurts and resentments. But when they are forced to face each other, their old feelings they thought were buried, come back fast and stronger than before. But they both suffered trauma that hinders them from giving themselves fully. Will they be able to heal, forgive, and trust each other again, or is there too much pain to overcome? This is a moving, and tender romance that took my breath away. Holden and Jenna were hurting but they were the missing piece to make each other whole. I loved how Holden worked to be a better man for himself, and so Jenna could trust that she was safe with him. My heart hurt for what they both went through but soared as they found their way back home to each other. I love this Kentbury series and the seasons that these characters go through to find themselves, family, friends, happiness and true love!
Stephanie Németh-Parker and Robert Hatchet were so perfectly cast to narrate this heartwarming and swoony romance. They completely captured these characters and made me feel all the hope, heartbreak, love, and passion they possessed. They are so easy to listen to and they made this romance even more captivating and delightful.

Heartwarming and swoony romance!
