The AI is terrible!

The Read voice was horrible, I really don’t enjoy AI, real people real voices is the only way

The story is good, but the "narration" is mechanical and disappointing.

The audio is obviously NOT read by a real person. The narration is awkward and halting, with strange background noises and mispronounced words.

the book is great, it follows the brothers ststories but the audio is horrible. you can hear cracking and popping the. it slows into slow motion the it speed reads.

Story was wonderful. Could not help to be distracted by a strange noise in the background throughout the book.

For some reason the audio was not good. Had many speeded up, stuck or mispronounced words.

Enjoyed the story but the playing of it was very frustrating. Some kind of technical issue

Is it AI?

The last book in this book might actually be read by AI. The timing is off in several places. The meter to relay emotions is also off. It’s listed as the narrator being the author. If this is the case, she is a good author, however, she should hire a narrator to read these good stories. I don’t know if it’s a or if it is the author. The way certain words were pronounced makes me think it might be AI. There is a very odd base sound that keeps coming in behind the narrator’s voice. This stood out a lot if I was listening in my car, but I could also hear it when listening with my earbuds. The second book in this voice has made me doubt whether or not I could endure a third book in this voice. Which is truly unfortunate, because the stories are good.

Enjoyed story - Narration needs editing

Enjoyed the story line. Throughout the story the word “number” is heard. I think this was an edit que in the recording of the story that wasn’t edited out. Tempo in the story telling was also varied. Author’s telling of own story isn’t as enjoyable as her first books in the series which were read by someone else, whose inflections and voices for different characters were more enjoyable.

I have enjoyed this series. This book is glitchy.

I enjoy these stories and like being able to listen in the car even if kids are with me. This particular book is very glitchy.

Amazing story, poor AI reading

I love the storyline and hearing more about Jonah. It is an unexpected pairing with surprises. The thing I had a hard time with was the reading which is likely AI with awkward rhythms and pronunciations that I have not noticed in the other books in this series. It is quite distracting from the story
