The author draws from his personal experiences and explains the reasons why we should be aware of our soundings and prepared to defend ourselves, and others in the event of a violent situation. I appreciate the perspective and direction the author had when creating this title. The virtual voice could use some work but ok.

Missing References and Distracting VV

Overall this an outstanding book clearly written by a knowledgeable and experienced author. However, the Audible edition lacks the tables, charts and illustrations that are repeatedly referenced in the text. Furthermore, the AI “virtual voice” repeatedly makes mistakes - place (or omitting) pauses that confuse the reader, or misreading words and phrases (“odd green” instead of “OD green” for example). The audio edition would benefit from a live editor or proof listener - and the inclusion of a PDF supplement.
