A great start to a new adventure.

Love a great "good vs evil" story. Can be enjoyed by both adult and young adults. The narrator did an excellent job bringing the characters to life.
This book was given to me free of charge for my unbiased review.

Fantastic New Fantasy Series

I absolutely loved this book! It starts out in a high-action scene and then continues that pace throughout the whole story, making it very difficult to put down. The characters are well-developed with interesting backstories. I would highly recommend this one to anyone who likes fantasy and action. It was a great start to a new series and I can't wait to read more. As a parent I would say that I think 3rd-4th graders and up would really enjoy this series. It's a clean book but there are a lot of battle scenes that might be a bit much for the really young readers.

LC Kane did a amazing job with the narration of the story, her voices for the characters and overall telling of the story really added to the fun of listening to this book.

Strong fantasy world and characters

She was just a fisherman’s daughter trying to survive without her father protecting her family and her best friend when a war calls her and she learns that she’s more than she thought. Maria is a regular teenager or so she thinks trying to do right by her family when war creeps to her home and she’s taken by famous warriors and become part of a war that has many consequences. Very strong world and characters.

Very entertaining

This was a solid story with great writing and the narration was very entertaining and transported me into the world of Aragnar. This was a great start to this series. Maria and Elron were such amazing and strong characters. Maria is strong and fierce and wields a inner power that draws people to her. She was a great heroine that I absolutely loved. Elron was amazing all through out as you see the type of leader he is and the loyalty he has of his people. He takes Maria on an as apprentice but treats her as his equal. I have to say I am completely in love with him.

The narration done by LC Kane was great giving voices to quite a few characters. I loved all the different accents and baritones. I felt as if I was in this world while reading. The narration was excellent on top of a wonderful story. I can't wait to see how this story unfolds and see more epic battles and fights.
