Suspenseful

What an awesome story Full of suspense made realistic by the Narrator. Twists and turns with each chapter.

Hooray - Sheridan’s on the case again!

Wine and Dead, Another Murder is #5 in the Sheridan Hendley Mystery series by Christa Nardi. Sheridan is an adjunct professor in psychology, and amateur sleuth, who is married to a detective. There is a murder at a local winery and Sheridan is asked by her boss at the college to help his niece and solve the murder mystery. A bit of a hypocrite since he usually he warns her not to meddle in investigations to avoid sullying the colleges reputation! Luckily Sheridan’s husband involves her in the case, and she helps solve it. I love this series, the characters and their interactions with each other. The narration by Jeanne Pilgrim Mayo is wonderful! She brings the story to life.

Wineries can be deadly

This is the fifth in the series. I listened to this book while walking. I found the premise interesting. There were plenty of suspects, twists and turns until the culprit is apprehended.

I like the working relationship between the detectives and the amateur sleuths. The narrator enhanced the story. The trips to the wineries were informative.

I am looking forward to the next book.

Wine and Dead, Another Murder is book #5 in the Sheridan Hendley Mystery series by Christa Nardi. Audible version narrated by Jeanne Pilgrim Mayo.

There’s a murder and some grape vines have been poisoned. Sheridan gets involved with the help of friends and they visit various wineries investigating.

I really enjoyed this story. It has wine, desserts, dog shelter, and a good mystery. I like The relationship between Sheridan, Brett, and Maddie.

The one negative for me was when the narrator did the male voices. Brett and his partner are a large part of the book and Brett’s partner, Fabry’s voice seemed really odd and I never got used to it.
