It was love at first sight for both of them. As their friendship grew, so did their adventures. The lovers followed the river to Afton State Park over two miles from home. Her two grandchildren live in the house next door, making life enjoyable for all. Grandma Diane rescued Willy from Rough Start Rescue in Houston, Texas, giving him his forever home just as the COVID pandemic was spreading across the country.
