William Palmer (Ad-free)

William Palmer was a British doctor known as the Rugeley Poisoner. He was convicted of murdering his friend so he could steal money to pay off gambling debts. Although he was convicted of one murder, it is suspected that Palmer poisoned up to 15 people, including his wife and infant children. His father made a lot of money in the timber business, much of it illegally, and he left a lot of it behind when he died. William was a physician, but he was lazy. He liked to spend his time gambling on horse races, and then he would poison those around him when he needed money.
