I just loved it! Made me angry and rejoice so many times! I’m so glad she never gave up, Oklahoma legislators let’s do better

Riveting story of courage and exposing the dark underbelly of evil. A battle cry for all of the voices who were silenced.

The author and I were classmates for years in our small town, country school.
Since we were friends on social media, I watched this nightmare unfold in real time…..or so I thought.

Until I listened to the book, I really couldn’t grasp just how horrific her abuse was. Nor did I realize just how far and wide the abuser’s tentacles reached.
As a Police Officer’s wife, I reached out to Karrah privately and advised her on taking some extra precautions to keep herself and her daughter safe. One thing I said was I wish it happened in Tulsa, so our team could handle it.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.

As for his consequences, a laughable joke and a deep sense of injustice.
I’m thoroughly disappointed in how the different law enforcement agencies handled it. Or didn’t handle it, I guess I should say.
Releasing him before notifying each abuse victim?! Unbelievable and most certainly out of policy.

Some believe in Karma.
I believe something along those lines.
Mine is the “reaping and sowing” principle taught in the Bible.
May God’s Wrath and Judgment on him be equal to the atrocities he has committed against others.

Karrah, I am so proud of you. Thank you for being a courageous voice for those who don’t have one. Especially close to my heart are the countless abused women who are incarcerated that I’ve had the opportunity to minister to for the past 15 years.

Thank you for not keeping quiet and not letting it go.

One of the most chilling and powerful memoirs I have ever read!

I have chills, I have goosebumps and I am so unbelievably grateful for the work that the author has done and the power that she has brought to the public from sharing her story! I found it striking, that at the end is gratitude for this evil bastard, but I can see why. Karan, you sure are a bad ass and your story is really going to help the lives of so many people, including people that I know and love. Thank you!

A survivor with guts!

I'm a survivor of this type violence, and listening to Wildfire helped heal decades old wounds I didn't think I still had.

The guts the author showed by fighting back and telling her story to expose this piece of trash, sadistic sociopath and warn other women to protect them from the damage she carries is admirable. I highly recommend this book, it's real and raw and it may heal something in you as well if you are a survivor of a man like this.

Often the truth is raw, unfiltered, shocking, and brutal - this story makes that clearly evident. But truth is also beautiful, healing, uniting, powerful, and worth fighting for - also lovingly expressed here.

The blood, sweat and tears that went into writing and publishing these injustices are so clearly the same ones that lived through them. The bravery shown is inspiring, let is spread like wildfire.

I’m not just the author — I lived this.
For 441 days, I was legally muzzled by the State of Oklahoma after exposing a violent predator. I couldn’t say his name or warn another woman. In that time, he hurt more women, came after my career, my child, and even plotted my death.

This is the truth they tried to bury. My only justice is telling it anyway.

That is a real hero

Every female should listen to this story. To know they are not the only ones out there in case they are now going through abuse or ever do go through it or know someone who has!!!
