Danica Morris had been a member of the Seattle Police Department for what felt like an eternity, but tonight, her hard work would finally pay off. She was wrapping up a nearly year-long investigation into a cult-led trafficking operation. Young people, mostly girls, were leaving home, joining the cult, and never being seen again.
The bust had gone down like clockwork. Moving through the deserted warehouse she found a set of stairs that led down. She heard a haunting sound coming from the depths of the building. Taking a deep breath, she descended a set of stairs and rounded a stack of metal cages. There, chained to the floor with heavy iron links, was a dragon. A real-life, scaled, and winged dragon.
Warrick, one of the Phantom Fire, had been chained and trapped in this cellar for a long time. Hearing someone approach he opens his eyes expecting his captors again. Only to find the most beautiful woman staring at him in shock, and he knew that she was his fated mate.
His captors were nowhere to be found, and as their eyes met Danica couldn't help but feel a strange connection between them. Despite her better judgment, she sets Warrick free and the two embark on a journey to uncover the truth and seek justice. But when they find themselves in the middle of a centuries-old battle between dragons and humans, will they be able to work together to find a solution?

Delta has done it again this is another fine example of her knowing how to spin wonderful story it was just just plain delicious.
JT did such a wonderful job narrating story.

Great storyline
Well developed plot that had good depth to it.
Characters that drew me into there world.
Plenty of drama romance with heat to it action and little suspense .
All round it was just a fantastic read.
The narrator did a great job of bringing the book and characters to life.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
