So, admittedly, I picked this book up purely on a whim. A whim based soley on curiousity. That said, it was definitely an interesting listen. I'm still not sold on how effective I believe this sort of thing is, but it was at least a different take on life. The narration is done well and held my interest the whole time.

Straightforward Instructions

This book is a good starting point for new Wiccans or witches, who are specifically looking for straightforward, practical beginner spells.

There’s a brief introduction and a brief FAQ at the end, and the bulk of the book is structured roughly similar to a recipe book. I was personally hoping for more in the way of going into the “why” of different spells, ingredients, practices, etc., but this book keeps things very straightforward so if that is what you are looking for, this is the book for you. While it wasn’t exactly what I was looking for, and as a result was more of a 3 star experience, I don’t think it’s fair for me to take a stars away because of that.

The main drawback of the audio form of this book is that the chapters in Audible are unlabeled, making it difficult to find a particular spell or section. The narrator was pretty good.

Great Book

Great book and very informative. Listening on here was great, I'm so used to having more time to sit and read paperbacks. It was so awesome to find this here and just listen to is while I got my daily things done. Would definitely check out more from the author.

Great welcome to the Wiccan lifestyle

First off I liked how clear the narrators voice was in the recording of the book. She makes the book more engaging!
This book really helped me understand the Wiccan lifestyle. It introduces you to beginner everyday spell that you can use in your life. I really liked the section on spells for money because I can always use more!

awesome spell book.

I am very happy this book was on audible. It was much easier for me to understand it. I have always wanted to know more about spells etc. This is the second book I have read by Heather, and I am really pumped to try this out. This book is for beginners it gives you a little bit in depth to Wicca.
It has what I would think to be pretty basic spells. And by that I mean they're easy-to-understand and easy to do. I am really looking forward to trying out the love spell for me and my husband. I'm hoping it can bring us together more.

The narration by Chantelle was good. There was no problems with the recording or her voice.

A Great Intro to Wicca

First let me say I am a solitary witch who belongs to no one discipline. That being said, I do enjoy learning of all the different disciplines out there. This is the third or fourth book I have listened to for beginner's to the Wiccan discipline. Heather Gardner does an excellent job explaining what it is to be Wiccan. I think she manages to explain this discipline in a more layman way than the others, not saying the others aren't good. Listening to this book is like having someone there in person explaining as a friend would. The narration is done well. Chantelle Theocharidis has a nice voice and reads at a good pace. Overall, if you're looking for a book to further your curiosity about the Wiccan discipline then this book will work for you.
