Fleeing an approaching blizzard, a military train carrying prisoners and a handful of citizens derails in the mountains. The survivors fight to stay alive and regroup as the terrible storm buries them in snow. Only then do they discover the train also carried another cargo - two cars loaded with biological experiments - genetically-altered sasquatches conditioned to annihilate anything they find.

Can the few remaining soldiers team with a pair of sisters and a police constable to fight the relentless beasts, icy temperatures, and escaped prisoners long enough for help to arrive?

Horrible Narration

I read the book on my kindle and really liked it, and thought it would be a good listen for a road trip with my husband. I was SO WRONG. This narrator should be banned. The delivery was dry, he had terrible diction and gave strange emphasis on various words. For example, be prepared to hear “theens” and “thanes” interchangeably instead of “things”. It’s like they found some dude off the street and offered him a job without listening to a sample of him reading. Do yourself a favor and don’t get the Audible version. The kindle version is much better and won’t make you hate the stranger reading the book out loud.

Great story, but the narrator made for a rough slog. I would rather have read it myself, which defeats the purpose of this app.

This was interesting, thinking that the government would make killers out of Bigfoot monsters.

narrator was terrible. story not too bad. but narrator ruined it . can't pronounce words.
