Effie and Lydia together again, at last, for a while.

Like the first book Dan the narrator was exceptional. His voices were superb and his intonation allowed me to feel what each character felt. The second half of this book had an odd flow. It would jump ahead a decade at a time. I’m typically not a fan of dystopian books but Dan’s narration held my attention until the very end.
