When Elizabeth Bennet accepts an invitation to visit her newly married friend Charlotte in Kent, she does not expect her stay to include the company of the enigmatic Lord Julian Fairfax, an old acquaintance of Mr. Darcy. Though as proud and reserved as Darcy himself, Lord Fairfax hides a scandalous past that seems to entangle the lives of those at Rosings Park, including Elizabeth.

Meanwhile, anonymous letters begin to circulate, revealing long-buried secrets that threaten to ruin reputations and sever relationships. As Elizabeth navigates these troubling revelations, she finds herself once again confronted by Mr. Darcy—his manner as bewildering as ever, his presence as compelling.

With scandal looming over both Willowmere Manor and Pemberley, Elizabeth must determine who to trust, including her own heart. Will she and Darcy find their way to understanding, or will the whispers of the past drive them apart forever?

A new Pride and Prejudice variation filled with mystery, romance, and second chances.

In this variation (which has nothing do do with the provided description BTW), Darcy has never met Elizabeth’s mother, father, or younger sisters. Yet in his proposal, he keeps going on about their misbehavior.

I mean… dear authors, if you’re going to change key elements in your story (which is perfectly fine), please show at least an ounce of logic — and don’t just copy and paste from the original word for word! 😤
