Children’s ER nurse, Kristi Trevisano’s passions are wild horses and photography. She lives for time on the Nevada range with her camera to create a photo documentary of one herd’s history. The images of the horses’ families and how they lived will preserve their memory for generations. The battle for who gets to use government land, forces Kristi to keep her activities on a need-to-know basis.

Bob Clayton, the CEO of Clayton Industries, knows a thing or two about horses. His rancher father and grandfather were forces behind exterminating wild mustangs in Texas. He sets out to prove to Kristi he’s nothing like his father. But is he?

Kristi’s five-year grant to photo document a wild herd expires soon. The last person she needs involved in her activities is an interfering rancher — even if he makes her heart race and claims he’s only a computer geek.

With conflict on the range raging, will she get the last photos she needs to complete her project?
