Charlotte is a Talented Writer

I really enjoyed this book. I am so struck with Charlotte’s wisdom and poise for her young life! It is not a very political book, but is much more about a family we all can respect and admire. The story is as much about the young author and her character, as it is about her father’s. It gives me hope for the future, and wisdom in how to be kind and gracious in this season of our country.

I loved listening to every word

This story has been written with such wisdom, humility and reverence. I felt like I was able to get to know the Pence family just a little more and found similarities in my family and joy in the adventure and strength needed to keep a family together while in the public eye. I love the intentionality of this family.
Kudos and I wish Charlotte great success standing in the middle of God's will and her dreams.

Great book with good values

This was a great book to see the background of the Pence family and how they were raised in a faith and relationship focused atmosphere. Jesus!

Anyone interested in politics should listen to this book

A beautiful and sincere perspective. Inspiring and worthy of admiration. My wife on our wedding day vowed these words to me ...where you go I will go. Her and I are now raising a beautiful family I’m going to be so much better at being a father after hearing vice President pence daughter remembering him so fondly.

NOT POLITICAL - UPLIFTING!

Yes, I am a Republican but this book does not reflect a political overtone or undertone for that matter. This is truly a book written by a daughter who wants to share the lessons her father, and mother, taught her. I was very surprised how much wisdom was imparted. She never had a negative word regarding anyone. The only negative I have to say is that she does not express any emotion, fairly monotone. This makes listening to a little dull. However, the words are wonderfully written and worth it. My cousin is reading the hard copy and I think that is a good way to go if you have the time. I listen while I am driving to work. But overall the content is excellent! If you are from an opposing political party - you will still like it!!! Take the chance.

A beautiful and inspiring book

What a beautiful and touching book! I was so encouraged by Charlotte's stories about her life growing up, her journey in life as the daughter of a political figure, and and the lessons she learned from her father and mother. It gave me personal insight about this family that I would not have known. Reading it made me feel like I know this family personally. Thank you so much for writing this book!

Excellent Book

Because the author personally narrated this story it is much more appealing. It is easy to hear that the author read it from her heart and that she deeply admires her father. It's a great "inside" perspective of the Pence family and their values.

A really great book

I found this book to be developmental and maturative for a young man coming of age such as myself. I found this book to be relatable and generally written at a highly professional level. I found the intonations and inflections perfectly done and I further highly recommend this book.
