Grim and gritty demon-hunting

Where Shadows Are the Darkest is a very well-written novel built on a promising world that I look forward to reading more about in the future. The characters are crafted so well I ended up with a soft spot for most of them, and that much sought-after "love to hate 'em" feeling towards one character in particular- you'll know who after you give this book a listen. It's not for the faint of heart or younger readers, as there are consistent mature themes and violence. It is, however, an engrossing, bingeworthy trip into a dark vision of the Old West. Looking forward to seeing more from Mr. Boone.
