Dr. Glenn Williams
Acerca de esta escucha
You had a dream. A crazy goal.
An idea that was going to make you money, a product that everyone was going to want to buy, or a career path that was going to set you on a trajectory that would bring opportunities, influence, power, financial security, and fulfillment. You thought it would be smooth sailing, and apart from minor bumps here and there, success would come quickly. But then it started unravelling. The business you started is now a shadow of what it once was. The promise of growth and success has become a nightmare. Trusted relationships have died. Lost sleep, anxiety, stress, conflict, and an uncertain future have become part of your leadership experience.
So, now what? Where do you go from here?
Dr. Glenn Williams is the founder and CEO of LCP Global Pty Ltd. His mission is simply to help leaders achieve their goals without sacrificing what's important.

"Glenn attacks a subject too many are afraid to discuss. What happens when life and work don't go as planned, sometimes under challenging and confronting circumstances? It's brilliant. I couldn't put it down it took me four hours to read cover to cover and it was totally worth it."
Toby Hall, Chairman Sana Health Group
"This is a must-read for those who have led and might be afraid to dream again and for those leaders who want to unleash the latent leadership potential in others."
Jeevan D'Mello, President, Global Leaders Today Magazine
"There is widespread acceptance leaders can grow from a place of failure and disappointment. But much less known is the reality of "lostness" for leaders. This book will be a powerful 'sensemaking' tool helping you move on to the next great leadership adventure."
Karise Hutchinson, Professor of Leadership, Ulster University Business School

An authentic and helpful light when things feel a bit dark.
Leadership is hard in general, but especially when things don't go as you might have expected. Setbacks leave you feeling lost, questioning yourself, your worth, your identity, and where to go next. This book felt like it was speaking directly to me in a way that I didn't expect. It gave me questions to explore and stories to resonate with that left me feeling just a little less alone... and a lot more capable. I listened to the audiobook, which only added to the experience. It was an easy read that left me feeling more equipped to navigate what's next than when I started the book. The vulnerability and heartfelt experiences shared only added to the feeling that we all go through darkness as leaders — in all shapes and sizes — but it's how you navigate it and the tools you use that ensure you can get through to the other side.

Helpful for regaining your footing
Glenn Williams shares his own experiences of being lost and how instead of rushing through those seasons there is an opportunity awaiting those who utilize the time to reflect on what matters before taking the next step. Through sharing personal and industry stories and by asking questions for reflection, Glenn provides guidance on key areas for leaders to reflect on. The reader/listener still needs to do their own work of reflecting, but Glenn provides a clear focus on what to consider in those disorienting seasons to find orientation to move forward with clarity, hope, faith, and courage.
