Lament avoids trite answers and quick solutions, progressively moving us toward deeper worship and trust.

Wow

What if Jesus doesn't heal you???
Gnarly book about what happens when Jesus wants you to not get better.
Ask and you shall receive???
Denied!
Asks a lot of tough questions about why God inflicts suffering on the world and church instead of healing us like when he walked the earth.
I guess we'll figure it out at the second coming.
I've listened to this book now at work about 5 times.

All Should Read!
If you could sum up When God Weeps in three words, what would they be?
Very helpful. I recommend all Christians read or listen to this book. I have not read any other book other than the Bible that is more helpful to prepare ones self for life's ups and downs. It is a shortened "abridged" version compared to the book version of the same.

Joni is an inspiration!
I read her first book "Joni" about the time I graduated from high school. Her message and her life have inspired me throughout my life, and have given me hope in a world filled with so much suffering and pain, and a better understanding as to why God allows for such. It is for our ultimate good...to direct us to Him that we can rely fully on His promises and live with Him forever in Heaven.

Eye opening
As a quadriplegic myself I needed to hear this and I plan on listening to it multiple times. I love how God used her to speak to so many people through the book. This is a blessing in a book
