Resumen del Editor

In What to Do on the Worst Day of Your Life, Brian Zahnd reveals the steps you must take to recover and to recover all. In this audiobook you will hear about David, a man who wept but did not get bitter. You'll listen in as David reorients his vision and regains his passion. Throughout this journey you will be reminded that God's great work in David's life was not an odd, one-off miracle but rather a pattern of faith for you when you face the worst day of your life.

Compelling and Practical Encourage

The author uses an episode from the life of David to “unpack” the ways we can face suffering and turn it into a unique opportunity for growth — growth that leads to a new, richer, more meaningful and, yes, better life. It is a book about turning suffering into a priceless means of transformation. While it is unflinching in addressing the character of real suffering, it remains both eminently practical and deeply encouraging.

Fabulous book even on a good day in your life

This is a fabulous book - for those awful days, and even as a reminder of what to do on the good days. It is well written, well presented and a tremendous book for your library. Evenmoreso, it's a tremendous book to share with anyone having a trial in their life - like who doesn't that pertain to? I highly endorse this book!

Hope for your toughest trials

Pastor Zahnd used King David's story to help readers respond to and make sense of hardship. I especially liked how he gave practical steps to recovery. This book was a blessing to me and I would recommend it to everyone.

If you are having the worst day of your life, please pick up Tim Keller’s “Walking with God through pain and suffering”

God doesn’t promise restoration to everyone on this side of Heaven like the author eludes to. The author takes the example of David regaining everything plus some after disaster strikes. He then tells the rest of us to hang in there....pray and read your Bible and the same thing will happen for us. Well guess what......God never promises health, wealth and happiness. We are told if we want to be heirs with Christ, we must also suffer with Him. We are told to deny ourselves and take up our cross and follow Him. The early church suffered horribly for their faithfulness. The author never addresses chronic illnesses that debilitate people for a lifetime.

This book only promises false hope. Only when we reach our eternal destiny does God promise to wipe away every tear.
