What future awaits us?

The fall of our civilization

History tells us that all civilizations fell when they renounced the values that once made them great.
Our Western civilization was also built upon certain ideals, certain “absolutes” that are now in danger: the Greek genius bequeathed to us the concept of Freedom itself, Beauty itself, and Truth itself; Rome, the idea of “Law” and “Justice”; and Christianity, the belief in the Dignity of man.
Placing ideals far above the whims and fancies of men has always been the best and only guarantee of freedom and prosperity for any civilization.
However, if, as we do today, we reject or cast doubt upon the values on which our civilization was built, we are doomed to self-destruction.
Others will come and fill the void.
