This is a Science-Technology-Engineering-Math (STEM) book. The first half of this book explains how GPS works in easy-to-understand language. The second half of this book explains how different industries use GPS: Search and Rescue, Railroads, Aircraft, Ships, etc. The book concludes with a set of quiz questions over the material. The book delves into technical details, such as number of satellites and their orbits, how distance to a satellite is calculated, etc., but does not overwhelm the reader with math or physics. It is appropriate for middle-school age student through adult.
