How did America become so screwed up? The answer is probably not what you expect.

To find the truth, journey through the tumultuous history of a nation that has weathered storms of epic proportions. From the haunting legacy of chattel slavery to the fiery crucible of the Civil War, there has long been a struggle for unity and identity—to shape the American landscape.

As brother fought brother on the battlefield, families were torn asunder, and the soil of the nation was stained with the blood of countless fallen soldiers. Yet, even in the aftermath of war, healing remained elusive as Reconstruction gave way to a turbulent era marked by corruption and blind hatred.

The waves of change crashed relentlessly upon America's shores, bringing with them a tide of immigrants whose arrival stirred both hope and fear. Despite the promise of diversity, tensions simmered beneath the surface, threatening to tear apart the very fabric of American identity.

With the immigration reform of 1965, the nation underwent a transformation, ushering in an era defined by widening divisions and searing resentment. Today, America stands as a fractured mosaic, its once-unified identity splintered into a myriad of factions held together by money and bureaucracy.

In this truly all-American story, explore the rise and descent of a nation whose journey reflects the complexities of human nature and the enduring struggle for unity in the face of adversity. If you want to know how and why America finds itself in such trouble, then get ready for a thought-provoking examination of this nation's past, present, and uncertain future.

This is profound racism masking as U.S. History.

In brief, his beloved ‘Anglo-Saxons’ epitomized virtue while all the the rest he views as no more than different breeds of livestock. The only solution to today’s problems is to undo all that the Americans have accomplished since the 1820s.
Of course, he’s quick to bypass the realty that the “Old Immigration” (his term), was actually the Anglo-Saxon invasion that committing genocide against Native Americans. Later, Reconstruction apparently did more damage than the Civil War.

To racists like Cotto, immigration of non-Anglo-Saxons has been, and will always be, the worst evil of all.
Pretty much everything goes from there.

Undoubtedly, Cotto had to self-publish his racism since only the most extreme of publishers would ever touch it.

Shame on Audible for distributing this toxic trash.
