The universe doesn’t behave the way you think it does — and that’s exactly what makes physics so weird. From particles that teleport, to stars that act like cosmic engines, to atoms that pop in and out of existence, the laws of nature are far stranger, funnier, and more mind-melting than anything science fiction ever dreamed up.

Weird Physics takes you on a wild ride through 40 bizarre discoveries per chapter, across 20 chapters of brain-stretching science. You’ll explore impossible materials, spooky quantum tricks, gravity glitches, cosmic oddities, and everyday phenomena that defy common sense — all explained in a fun, fast, teen-friendly way by Nova Kestrel.

Get ready to laugh, gasp, rethink reality, and question everything you thought you knew about how the world works.

Because the deeper you look into the universe…
the stranger it gets.

This book is a fun surface level intro to physical anomalies and more abstract theories. Rapid fire facts and theories with one or two applications on various high level topics. No one topic is explored in depth but because it's goal is to introduce "weird" concepts, it does a good job of keeping the listener interested. My only gripe is the AI reader - it's pretty clear that this was pumped in and never actually listened to by the publisher. Or, if it was, they couldn't be bothered to correct the pronunciation of the more complex words and abbreviations. The AI even pronounces "AI" wrong... But, that said, the reading voice is good enough to make it through, even at a high speed.

Overall, don't expect to be educated on the subject of physics. Instead, be entertained, take away some trivia facts and a discover topic or two to explore deeper elsewhere.
