Who the heck hasn’t been “Weighting” for something!

GREAT BOOK!
I am an avid reader and Audible listener and never written a review before I read this book. But this book has completely charmed me. I chose it because of the name. Once
I started looking at it, I was very curious as to how the author, Sandy Knox, would join her very personal story with her amazing very personal songs!
Wow! I couldn’t turn it off!
Her use of words in writing the story or singing the songs was sometimes hysterical, sometimes sad, but always made you think!
I’m recommending it to everyone, and in fact, breaking the rules of my 20+ years old reading club and recommending this audio book when it is my turn to choose a book.
I can’t wait to talk about it!!!!

Absolutely Surprised!!

Being a guy this is a little different from my normal Books that I enjoy (war, history, apocalypse etc…) but my wife was listening to it one day and it caught my interest.
I finished it in two days while at work because I honestly just couldn’t stop listening to it. Lol.
It has a great story, interesting characters, and some good music added in. I honestly thought it would be a chick book about losing weight, but it was so much more than that.
If you’re wanting to Listen to a heartfelt story with some laughs sprinkled here and there then this is the book for you. It definitely puts your mood in a good place. Everyone of all ages can enjoy this book. There’s no obscene material, no Fifty Shades of Grey, or Louis l’Amour and only a few cuss words.
As a guy with a little added weight around the middle, I can definitely relate to the chapter called “Where’s my junk” lol.

A Story that Touches so Many People

It’s really fun how the story is woven together with musical-style songs. It’s like being in a theater. The songs brought the characters and emotions to life in a way that regular audiobooks can’t. The story itself was moving, heartfelt, and very relatable. Sandy Knox’s performance made it even more special—funny, vulnerable, and inspiring all at once.

Music intertwined with the story was so unique!

I loved the story. Sandy brought the characters to life so well - I thought I personally knew each and every one of them! The music was so great. I must admit that when the “salsa” song came on I had to get up and dance! Great job with the whole project Sandy!
