Resumen del Editor

The problem with pandemics is that people want to forget them. One year, a million Americans are killed by a deadly new virus. The next, everyone is back rooting for the Georgia Bulldogs. The impulse to move on from this particular kind of tragedy is more than a little odd. The United States contains less than five percent of the world's population, and experienced more than 20 percent of its Covid deaths. If we don't spend time figuring out why we did such a poor job of protecting ourselves against the last deadly pathogen, how will we protect ourselves from the next?

THE HIDDEN AGENDA OF THE ANTI-VAXX DOCTORS

Having read many non-fiction books on the COVID-19 pandemic, including by Michael Lewis & David Quammen, this meticulously detailed chronicle of the scientists & physicians behind The Great Barrington Declaration, reveals the leaders of the anti-vaxx, anti-N95, anti-physical distancing movement.

They promoted this disinformation under the guise of attaining herd immunity, which is virtually impossible with a rapidly evolving single-stranded RNA virus w/tremendous transmission & immune escape properties, and whicg has infected multiple mammal species--all (my interpretation) in the service of either self-aggrandizement, funding book sales or all of the above.

Shameless disregard for the health of people, especially children, by dismissing their deaths & Long Covid as collateral damage.

These PhDs & MDs can't possibly believe science can predict the evolution of a novel virus, yet they compare it to measles, chickenpox & influenza, as if all respiratory-spread viruses are similar.

To a gullible public, they are.

This book is of historical significance for documenting the lies told to the world. A very important book.

Fascinating but cautious

Having watched ZOE on YouTube for a couple of years I was familiar with Spector's perspective. But I was surprised by the caution he expressed about many aspects, mainly due to the lack of reliable scientific data.

Yet I regard this as essential reading.
