good story

do try for a light read...i liked it quite much n it had pretty decent ending too

It made me look at my life.

I finished this book over night. I was emotionally engaged with it. Thank you so much. I only wish I know my disability that keeps me from falling in love and finding my soul mate. I wish you all the happiness. Regard the book it was bueatifuly detailed and dicribteve it made me live through your experience with out poring me.

Really like the book, especially since it was a guy point of view talking about his love and relationships, kinda short but it was really good.

Love the stories and the reading

It’s a great lesson on how we let our self consciousness, and self doubt get in our way and sabotage potential relationships and life opportunities.

I found myself increasingly connected to your story the longer I listened, and there's two main reasons why.

1) Because I've passed over guys before who liked me and never made a move, because they never said anything. BUT, I never said anything either, just like you, so I could relate! Since I knew this reasoning, I was practically screaming at you through the book, "Have confidence in yourself, you dummy!!!" haha.

2) My second reason is because I've over-judged myself in many ways over the years and I know it's affected my relationships through high school and college. I was always too harsh on myself and assumed no one would ever truly love me, and after a few "negative" relationships, I was going to stop trusting people all together and stop dating... I'm sp glad I met my current boyfriend Chris and took one last chance and elected to throw my heart in the open and trust him, because like your Ashley Sampsonite, he keeps me balanced. <3

So, thank you for the heart-to-heart and for all the fun math puns (good to know there's other cool nerds like me who love math ;D yea~ ), and I'm gonna go look into more books and material from you! :)

Very awkward and hilarious

The book was well written and easy to read. Toward the end the audio book skips a few parts but the point is still made

Amazingly witty and thought provoking

I loved listening to this audiobook! It made me laugh and I saw a lot of my insecurities in the author while I am female and do not have a disability. I have always let my weight and insecurities regarding my body keep me single much like the author did with his amputation. This book made me laugh, cry and take a look at myself that has provoked me to take more chances and not let my perceived imperfections hold me back! Thank you so much for telling your story!

Unemberisingly my new favorite memoir.

Though The story itself was fantastic, adding Josh Sundquist's narrative made it 10 times more enjoyable listen/read. I usually only listen to audiobooks when I'm in the car or going to sleep, but t was so hard to put down I ended up listening to this book all in two days. Love Josh's humor and his writing style really reflected himself perfectly. Can't wait to listen again soon!

An absolutely wonderful unfortunately true story

I really enjoyed this book. I found myself going back and relistening to chapters before continuing on. I was left wondering what happened with Ashley?
