Super interesting topic

I loved hearing about the behind the scenes of an investigation. Looking for more audibles like this.

Finding the Truth

This is a very well written book. It flows so smoothly, it keeps you interested and leaves you wanting more.

The author provides a variety of cases from their past investigations. They are not drawn out at all or filled with a lot of technical terms or procedures but an informative summary of the case and provides a notation of skills used, topics to think of and a brief informative reference of laws or criminal justice procedures.

It would be interesting to read more on some of these cases and be able to follow the writer as he dives deeper into the process of the different investigations he had performed.

This is a book I will be going back to often. I have already listened to a few of the cases a couple of times. The processes just give you so much to think about and helps you realize all the work, determination, risks and so much more that is involved with being a Private Investigator.

I’d also like to note how much I appreciate the honesty of the author about how being a Private Investigator is not all fun and exciting but time consuming and being able to have a lot of patience and being ready to do a lot of paperwork.

As an individual pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice, this was a great book to help give me something to focus on when topics and situations come up that make it hard to want to continue with the degree. I LOVE the key topic of Finding the Truth. I can’t share that enough. That is such a powerful statement and action and I will keep that with me as I continue on and will move forward on assignments and such with finding the truth and providing the truth going forward.

Thank you Michael West for writing this book, for sharing your stories, experience and thoughts on every case provided. This book has been truly inspirational and thought provoking.
