Super Story

this book is way out of what I normally read. I'm a dragons and faerie kind of girl and I haven't ever watched a marvel movie. but this book is so good! I loved the story and characters and can't wait to jump into the next book. it's truly a good story and feels realistic to the world.

What if superheroes were real?

A fun, fast-paced adventure full of supervillains, secret agents, and quippy one-liners. Definitely recommend for Marvel/DC fans, and it's squeaky clean, so I'd absolutely hand it to a teen or tween super fan. Four stars!

Villains, Heroes, and Betrayals, Oh My!

After having this book for what feels like forever, I finally had the time to listen to listen to it! This story had everything that I ever could have wanted. Pop culture references, theater kids, super heros, super villains, high stakes -- the whole deal!
The hardest part of this book was trying to figure out which side I wanted to be on. Ironfalls rizz made it difficult for me to hate him and it soft interactions with Rosemary made it even harder. But then he'd kill someone and I'd remember that he is, in fact, not a cool person.
On the narrating side of the things, I couldn't be happier. The inflection in voices and the emotion that was put into it was simply -chefs kiss-. I will say the only thing that was slightly hard to listen to was the reddit user names that were read off, and then the reports at the end of each chapter.
Other than that, this was an amazing audio book to listen to. I cant wait to listen to the second one!

Like watching a movie

Ive read this book before and it’s just as entertaining the second time. I really enjoyed the narrator I think she did a fabulous job bringing these characters and story to the third dimension. There are so many ups and downs in this novel and twists that you never know who to trust, so stay on your toes and keep turning those pages. I’m so ready for book two and see where we go. Im so thankful that this series is on audible now!

I will definitely read book two!

I enjoyed this book so much. It's been on my TBR for a while and I was so excited to be able to get to the audiobook. I thought the narrator did a great job. There was only one voice (for a side character) that was a bit nasally for me. Otherwise, wonderful audiobook. Highly recommend for this format.

The story is solid. I thought it was clever to have the actual superheroes be actors and such to hide their identities. It's a good juxtaposition to Rosemary and her life. There were some moments I didn't expect and I loved the action scenes. I'm very intrigued by the subtle romance and I think this ended at the perfect spot. And even better, this is a true YA book. No language, kisses only, there's some violence but it's not overly graphic or gory. Easy recommend.
