Water Rising

A few weeks later and Hurndell is the greatest mystery since the Marie Celeste. The residents have vanished and the village is covered in a thick layer of mud. Only two people made it out: Cory Walton is in the Bliss psychiatric unit after her child was taken by the water and Greg Farnam is found unconscious on a beach many miles from Hurndell. They hoped the water was dead, but something is stirring back in the ruined village, something that is not ready to die, something that wants life. For both of them, the answers they are looking for lie in Hurndell and before long the dead will walk once more...
