To what lengths will a woman go to save her family? Exciting listen

This was a great audiobook! I loved the narration and the rare medical condition made the descriptions so interesting. I had no idea that chromesthesia even existed. The slow unraveling of Bo’s past and how it shaped her current situation was very engaging. I’ll definitely check our books by this author and narrator again!

what a story

i did not expected this and was totally gripped! fast paced and thrilling from start to finish!!!!

Unique action thriller

A radio personality with some special powers gets tested when a man kidnaps her husband and holds him hostage. He demands a live interview with her in which he brings up her past demons and their connection.
 
The story was interesting. I was captivated throughout. I don’t feel that the synesthesia added to the story necessarily, but it was a fascinating thing to learn about. The story was fast paced with twists and turns and the ultimate reveal providing a riveting climax.
 
Amy narrated well and I enjoyed her various character voices and overall performance.
 
I recommend this story as a good action thriller with involved characters and captivating plot.

Suspenseful!

This was my first George Weinstein's book. This chilling psychological thriller is captivating, and suspenseful. The storyline is well written, and the thriller unfolds at a great pace. Some scenes are very graphic! Amy Deuchler did an outstanding job with the narration. I enjoyed it! I highly recommend it, if you like psychological thrillers. I was given a free review copy of the audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Great book!

The plot is very interesting. It kept me captivated the whole time. The narrator did an excellent job! From the radio voice to a disguised voice, it was done beautifully & brought the whole book to life.

Chilling!

This is a very chilling psychological thriller. The writing is excellent and the story is plotted and paced well. The characters are realistic and Amy Deuchler's outstanding narration gives them distinctive and appropriate voices. You'll not want to pause this one.

Good Story

This story evoked tons of emotions from me - some frustrating at not so smart choices. However I believe if an author can get me to yell at a character while I am reading/listening then they have done a great job. The narrator was absolutely wonderful at bringing the story to life . The story kept my interest and I look forward to more by this author & narrator

Fresh Twist

I received this book for free. I am voluntarily posting this review and all opinions expressed herein are my own.

This is a unique twist on the genre. Not just one character but two characters who have chromesthesia. Something I had never heard of before so, interest piqued - I looked up some information on it and found out that people like Billy Joel and Pharrell Williams have it - seeing their music in color. Here, the MC sees the spoken word in color and from that can decipher truth from lies. Very interesting concept. This unique gift aids the MC when her husband is kidnapped, making the well written story very fresh and interesting. I was drawn into the story immediately and the colorful descriptions [sorry :)] captivated me.

The narrator, Amy Deuchler, always does a fantastic job and she certainly kept the tension up as the plot progressed.

Book was a little drawn out. could have been condensed in less time. But kept my attention and interest

Terrific premise and great read

I never heard of chromesteria before I listened to this story. I found the condition and the story very interesting. Definitely worth the credit.
